Simon Cowell's record label, Syco Entertainment and Sony Music are being sued for $1 million by US band One Direction because UK band One Direction is causing consumer confusion and destroying their goodwill, reports The Hollywood Reporter. One Direction UK is being threatened with losing its name. One Direction US do NOT have a record deal, but they formed one year before 1D UK and filed a patent for the name.
